Right sided frontal bone with an unfused Metopic suture. The metopic suture is unfused from the coronal suture, extending anteroinferiorly down the midline of the frontal bone, and terminating just superiorly of the ethmoid notch. The metopic suture of the frontal bone usually fuses by approximately 8 yrs old, although some metopic sutures never fuse. Some breakage of medial portions of the pars orbitalis/orbital plate. The ethmoid notch is not present. Other than orbital plate breakage and staining, the element is devoid of pathology. Sex and more specific age estimation is encouraged.
